Contracts and Grants, LLC now has a certification.


Recently we have been asked to provide referrals to large primes for subcontracts so we have decided to offer a certification program so that we can certify your readiness to participate as a subcontractor. 

We have always been a resource to government contractors and government agencies when they are looking for subcontractors. In most cases we only referred companies that we had worked with because we only provide referrals based on our experience with a company.

Now we are opening up the opportunity for your company to be among our referral network. 

Because government contracting is totally different from commercial contracting, we need to ensure that you have a full understanding of the government contracting experience and how do we do that? By providing a full government contracting experience, from identification of the opportunity to submission of the proposal, all done in just 1 hour per day for 14 days of classroom virtual training and the rest is homework allowing you to apply what you leaned. 

We recognize that you have a business to run and because you will be adding government contracting to your existing activities you needed to experience government contracting “real time”.


The Road to Government Contracts – Real World Simulation


This 1 Week (or if you need longer, we can do it in 2 weeks)  training program for The Road to Government Contracts immersive course is an experience in which your team will assume the role of a federal contractor that is pursuing an opportunity to provide products and services to a government agency (the C&G team) and you have 5 days to identify, capture, and learn proposal writing and pricing, and another 5 days to submit a federal proposal for a contracting opportunity.

You and your team will learn how to find and bid on government contracting opportunities in a real-world simulation of the process successful organizations use to win federal contracts.

  • Evaluation of final project (including a written debriefing)

Contracts and Grants, LLC encourages Fast Track participants to complete the training program with their teaming partners. You can choose multiple teaming partners to help reduce the cost of the training. As well, going through the training program with your team partner can give both your organization and your partners’ organizations a good idea of how the partnership will look in real life.


This is a good opportunity for you to assess whether your selected teaming partners are a good fit for your company during both the bidding process and in fulfilling the contract requirements once a federal contract has been awarded.

We encourage you to consider this option when your budget and/or workforce reaches its capacity. We welcome the opportunity to participate in a consortium with like-minded companies. This is a GREAT way to ease into the government marketplace.

Coaching Schedule

Day 1 - Identification/Vetting Capture - Find the opportunity that you will work on during the class. Learn how to choose the RIGHT Opportunity. Learn how to determine a P-Win (Probability of a Win)

You will have 2 days to do all of the proposal prep and then we reconvene on day 4 to go over your Homework with Office Hours. 

Day 4 - Proposal Prep - Now that you have Found the Opportunity, Prepare the Proposal for a Win.

Day 5,6,7 - Cost Load - Learn how to cost load every single activity of our business, so that you don't leave money on the table.

Homework will be assigned and you will have 2 days to complete it.

Day 9,10,11 - Pricing - This is where the rubber meets the road. If you don't price it just right, all of your hard work could go to waste. Pricing is THE key to winning federal contracts.

Day 12 - Proposal Evaluation - Learn how to make sure that your proposal is compliant, responsive, and relevant.

Day 17 - Submit Proposals for Review

In the months after your team (including your teaming partners) graduates from the Fast Track  program, you are eligible to receive ongoing support through Group Q&A sessions and Office Hours,  Your support includes:

Note: 

Fast Track is designed to simulate an actual government experience, therefore successful completion of the course is designed to be met during the time frame that is chosen.  While we understand that things come up during the training, it is important that you plan to complete the training in the time period that you registered for (one week or two weeks). Please keep in mind that we have set aside time for you during your time slot. If you are unable to meet the schedule, you will lose your time-slot. If you lose your time-slot, we will provide you with a previously recorded tutorial of the class that you missed, and a 1 hour coaching session based on availability per module missed.

*To successfully complete this course, you agree to attend all classes, complete assignments on time, and receive a passing score on final project. If you do NOT successfully complete the course, you may RETAKE the class at a 50% discount.
